Netherlands' Vivian Kingma has been banned for three months for using cocaine. Kingma admitted the offence and demonstrated the substance was used out-of-competition. In line with ICC Anti-Doping Code, Kingma’s records from ODI against UAE on May 12 and in subsequent matches have been disqualified. Earlier, Kagiso Rabada was banned by South African Institute for Drug-Free Sport for using cocaine.

Gold prices surged ₹1,800 to touch a fresh peak of ₹1,15,100 per 10 grams in Delhi on Tuesday, according to the All India Sarafa Association. The contents of Pakistan's letter to ICC over the handshake row have surfaced online. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) letter stated, "The match referee failed to discharge his responsibility: to ensure that respect was extended and maintained amongst the captains as well as between the two competing sides." It added, "We believe the highest level of offence has been committed."

The PCB has dropped its threat to boycott Asia Cup as it's fearing heavy sanctions from Jay Shah, according to a report. "ICC led by Jay Shah will put heavy sanctions on PCB and this is something our board cannot afford," the report stated quoting a source. "PCB's financial situation post Champions Trophy 2025 isn't good," the source added.

India have denied Pakistan's allegation that match referee Andy Pycroft instructed both captains not to shake hands during toss ahead of their Asia Cup 2025 clash. According to Team India camp, the decision not to shake hands was already taken in light of the Pahalgam terror attack. Indian players had chosen to forgo gesture as sign of solidarity with victims.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has reportedly decided against withdrawing from Asia Cup 2025 despite the ICC rejecting their demand to remove match referee Andy Pycroft from the tournament. Earlier, Pakistan had threatened to pull out if Pycroft was not removed from officiating further in the tournament. Pakistan had alleged that Pycroft acted on behalf of Team India in handshake row.

They join ex-cricketers Shikhar Dhawan and Suresh Raina, and actress Urvashi Rautela and former Trinamool MP Mimi Chakraborty, in being questioned by the ED.
