During a press conference, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Mohsin Naqvi was asked whether Pakistan were afraid of possible ICC sanctions over boycotting T20 World Cup match against India. Naqvi replied, "Neither am I intimidated...nor is...Pakistan government...You know our [Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir]...he never gets afraid." Pakistan have reversed decision to boycott their T20 World Cup 2026 match against India. The Pakistan government said "in view of outcomes achieved as well as the request of friendly countries" it allowed Pakistan team to take the field for their game against India. The BCCI on Monday released a list of 30 players who have been given annual player contracts for the 2025-26 season. As many as five players have been removed from the annual contract list from the previous season. They are Mohammad Shami, Mukesh Kumar, Rajat Patidar, Sarfaraz Khan and Ishan Kishan.

PM Narendra Modi's Office told Lok Sabha Secretariat that questions and matters related to PM CARES Fund, PM's National Relief Fund (PMNRF), and National Defence Fund aren't admissible, Indian Express reported. It cited Rule 41(2)(viii) and 41(2)(xvii) governing the conduct of business in the Lok Sabha. The rules state that questions on matters that aren't the Centre's concern aren't admissible.
