Gold prices fell ₹100 to ₹1,24,600 per 10 grams in Delhi on Friday, according to the All India Sarafa Association. Gold of 99.9% purity had settled at ₹1,24,700 per 10 grams in the previous market session. Meanwhile, silver prices remained flat at ₹1,53,300 per kilogram on Friday. Globally, spot gold rose $19.84, or 0.5%, to $3,996.93 per ounce.

MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal has said India has taken note of US President Donald Trump's claim that Pakistan is conducting nuclear tests. "Clandestine and illegal nuclear activities are in keeping with Pakistan's history, which is centred around decades of smuggling, export control violations, secret partnerships," he said. India has always highlighted this internationally, he added.

Team India batter Shreyas Iyer made his first public appearance after recovering from a near-fatal injury in Sydney, Australia. Iyer visited the Dhakshin restaurant in Sydney, after which its chef Haver Puri shared a picture on Instagram. Iyer was discharged from the hospital on November 1 and will return to India once he is deemed fit to fly.

Supreme Court has ordered that every educational institution, hospital, public sports complex, bus stand and depot, railway station, etc. must be fenced properly to prevent entry of stray dogs. Created by an international team, the project charts growth of millions of cells in human and mammalian brains. Scientists found 5,000-plus cell types in mouse brain as part of the research. Researchers said the atlas will offer insights into brain formation and disorders.
