US State Department paused all visa processing for 75 countries from January 21 onwards, Fox News reported. The department has directed consular officers to refuse visas under existing law while it reassesses screening and vetting procedures. The full list of countries hasn't been released, but reports claimed it includes Russia, Afghanistan, Brazil, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Nigeria, Thailand and Yemen.

The Indian Embassy in Tehran has asked citizens to leave Iran, as protests against the regime have intensified, killing over 2,000 people. They were asked to leave by any available means of transport. Billionaire Elon Musk claimed he's unaware of any obscene images of underage users generated by Grok, days after he publicly warned X users from using the chatbot to generate such images. "When asked to generate images, [Grok] will refuse to produce anything illegal," Musk said. According to government sources, X had accepted its mistake on Sunday over the obscene images.
