Cricketer Yashasvi Jaiswal was admitted to hospital on Tuesday after being diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis. His hospitalisation came hours after Mumbai’s Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Super League match against Rajasthan in Pune. He was suffering from stomach cramps which intensified post the game, Indian Express reported.

Heavy intervention by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) helped the Indian rupee stage its strongest intraday recovery in seven months on Wednesday. RBI intervened aggressively in currency markets on Wednesday, selling dollars to prop up the rupee, bankers said. Union Labour and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has announced that from March 2026 onwards, the option to withdraw 75% of the provident fund (PF) amount will be extended, allowing employees to withdraw the amount using ATMs or UPI. "We saw that people have to fill out tens of forms to withdraw PF money...We'll link PF accounts with UPI," Mandaviya said.
