TV actor Gaurav Khanna has been declared the winner of the reality TV show 'Bigg Boss 19'. He was awarded the Bigg Boss trophy and a cash prize of ₹50 lakh. Farrhana Bhatt was named the runner-up, while Pranit More came third. Amaal Mallik and Tanya Mittal were among the five finalists of 'Bigg Boss 19'.

McLaren's 26-year-old British-Belgian driver Lando Norris on Sunday finished third in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to clinch Formula One 2025 world championship. This is the first time that Norris has won the world championship. UBS is planning to cut an additional 10,000 jobs by 2027, Swiss media reported. Responding to the report, UBS did not confirm this number, but said it would "keep the number of jobs cuts in Switzerland and globally as low as possible". UBS has been cutting jobs due to the integration of former rival Credit Suisse it bought in 2023.

Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt has been arrested from Mumbai’s Yari Road area in connection with a ₹30-crore fraud case. In a joint operation, Rajasthan Police and Mumbai Police detained him from his sister-in-law’s residence. The blaze at North Goa's Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub occurred due to a suspected cylinder blast, leading to deaths of at least 25 people. Goa CM Pramod Sawant said the club was operating without complying with safety norms. "The fire started on club's ground floor, leaving those in the basement trapped...and led to their death by suffocation," added Sawant.
