Thailand's Opal Suchata Chuangsri has been crowned Miss World 2025 at the 72nd edition of the beauty pageant by the outgoing pageant winner, Czech Republic's Krystyna Pyszková. The beauty pageant was held in Telangana on Saturday. Ethiopia's Hasset Dereje Admassu has been named the runner-up. Meanwhile, India was represented by Kota-born Nandini Gupta.

Miss India 2023, Nandini Gupta, who is representing India at Miss World 2025 in Telangana, recently shared her Bollywood aspirations. In a recent interview she said, "Ranbir Kapoor is one actor for sure whom I'm looking forward to being on set with, to act with him and to be his co-actor. I'm looking forward to that journey in Bollywood."

Miss England 2014, Dr Carina Tyrrell, and reigning Miss World, Krystyna Pyszková, are also among the judges. Miss World Chairwoman Julia Morley will be head of the jury.
