The trademarks owned by luxury brand Hermès, including its Birkin bag, have been recognised as "well-known marks" in India by Delhi High Court. This came after Hermès filed trademark infringement case against Macky Lifestyle, alleging advertisement of lookalike handbags without consent. Hermès claimed that its Birkin bag acquired international reputation through decades of exclusive association.

Reliance Foundation Chairperson Nita Ambani was seen carrying a handbag with diamond-studded initials of her 4 grandchildren. The initials made of 18 carat gold also contained Brazilian Paraiba tourmalines, according to the designer. The initials A, K, P and V stand for Aadiya, Krishna, Prithvi and Veda.

Miss Universe India National Director Nikhil Anand, in a statement, supported Miss Universe 2025 Fatima Bosch after she faced online hate. "To see...young woman who has worked tirelessly and dreamed fearlessly, subjected to online vitriol, is deeply disheartening," Anand said. "Posting hate is never right; it wounds...spirit and tarnishes what should be a moment of pure celebration," he added.

Health insurance plans will now add other kinds of relationships, including same-sex partners, in-laws, dependents, nieces and nephews under a single policy. This benefit is extended for individual, multi-individual (relatives other than immediate family members), and family floater health insurance plans. The addition of these new relationships is likely to be allowed during the renewal time.

After Mexico's Fatima Bosch was crowned Miss Universe 2025, Lebanese-French composer Omar Harfouch, who had resigned as a judge, claimed that Miss Universe owner Raúl Rocha had predetermined Fatima as the winner. Omar claimed it was due to his business dealings with her father. "Raul...and his son urged me...a week ago in Dubai...to vote for Fatima Bosch," he stated.
