Actor-rapper Jaden Smith has been appointed as first artistic director for menswear of French luxury brand Christian Louboutin. He will be responsible of creating four collections annually, covering men's shoes, leather goods, and accessories. Founder Christian Louboutin said he was convinced by Smith's creativity and wanted  to have an intelligent voice from different generation.

Mukesh Ambani's wife Nita Ambani on Wednesday attended the premiere of Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan's directorial debut 'The Ba***ds of Bollywood'. Fashion designer Saisha Shinde feels that celebrity showstoppers take away attention from the most important people in the fashion industry, the models, who are underrated and should be given their due credit. "If designers are confident of their work, they don't need a showstopper to elevate their collection. I am a secure, confident designer. I don't need a showstopper," Shinde said.
